How Olaplex works
Olaplex is a bond-building treatment that targets the hair’s internal structure rather than coating the outside. It is formulated to act where chemical services—like colouring, lightening or relaxing—stress the internal bonds, helping restructure those areas so the hair handles styling and subsequent services more predictably.
Because it works internally, Olaplex is not a surface conditioner. The treatment’s role is to support the hair fiber during and after chemical processes, reducing the degree of seasonal and service-related weakening without claiming to restore hair to a prior state.
When Olaplex is applied
Olaplex is designed to be added to a chemical service on the same visit, which is when hair is most in need of bond support. Adding it during colour, lightening or relaxing sessions helps protect the internal structure while the chemical process is active, making it a sensible add-on to those services.
At our studio Olaplex can be combined with glazing or toning services; the Olaplex & Glazing or Toning treatment lasts about 45 minutes and pairs bond-building with tone refinement. Standalone Olaplex is quick and is commonly recommended whenever clients book colour or texture work.
Local and practical considerations
Cape-coral’s outdoor, water-oriented lifestyle—regular sun exposure, salt air and humidity—can influence how hair ages and responds to colour or texture services. Clients who boat, fish, or spend time on the waterfront often find bond-supporting treatments useful as part of a maintenance plan to manage service wear over time.
The studio is located in southeast Cape Coral near the Del Prado and Cape Coral Parkway commercial corridor and is convenient for commuters from Fort Myers. The standalone Olaplex service is priced at $30 and takes 15 MINUTES, making it a quick, affordable reinforcement to longer colour or texture visits.
